Dear Agile Enthusiasts,
Thank you for trusting AgileTest as your test management platform in Jira. Your support empowers us to continuously improve and customize our tool to your project preferences.
We’re writing to inform you about an update to our pricing plan, which will take effect at the beginning of January 2025. Please stay tuned for more details, which will be shared through an in-app banner and a blog post on our website as soon as it is released. While pricing changes are never easy, we want to provide full transparency about why this adjustment is necessary and how it will help us better serve you.

Why Are We Updating Our Pricing
At AgileTest, it is our top priority to deliver a platform that supports your needs of testing, Here’s what’s driving this change:
- New Development
Your subscription fuels our efforts to develop many new features, and advance existing capabilities that make AgileTest capable for your testing needs.
AgileTest’s new Test Automation feature seamlessly integrates automated tests into your test management process. It allows you to import test results from frameworks such as JUnit, NUnit, TestNG, xUnit, Cucumber, Behave, and Robot Framework, or trigger remote builds using CI/CD tools like Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins. These results are automatically linked to Jira test cases, updating their test run status effortlessly.
In this release, we’re making changes to the AgileTest user interface to make it easier to use and more straightforward. These updates aim to help you navigate the platform and complete testing with less effort.
- Scaling Infrastructure
As AgileTest grows to support teams of all sizes, we are upgrading our infrastructure to ensure smooth performance and reliability for everyone—from small teams to large enterprises.
What does this mean for you?
- AgileTest will transition to become a paid app in Quarter 1, 2025. The exact date will be announced through an in-app banner and our website blog, so stay tuned for further details.
- For detailed pricing, please view the below images and information.
We are confident these adjustments are competitive and enable our team to deliver exceptional value to your testing journey.

Pricing Questions You Might Have
1. How will this impact my current subscription?
- After the transition, you can activate free trials for 30 days.
- After that, free access will be restricted in compliance with Atlassian’s policy.
If you don’t subscribe right away, don’t worry—your data will remain safe and unaltered. You can regain access to your data anytime by subscribing.
2. I only want specific users to use the app? How do I pay per user?
- AgileTest strictly follows Jira pricing model so Atlassian Server products (AgileTest included) follow a tiered pricing model, where your cost is based on the number of users. Each pricing tier covers a specific range of users, so if you exceed the limit of your current tier by even one user, your subscription will move to the next pricing level.
- Jira’s annual subscription model uses user tiers to determine pricing. For example, with 171 active users, your subscription falls into the 101-200 user tier, and you’ll be billed accordingly. Even if only 102 users actually use the app, the cost remains within this tier.
3. How do I know if the app fits my criteria?
- AgileTest remains free for teams with 10 or fewer active users in your Jira instance.
- We also offer a 30-day free trial, giving your team ample time to explore the app and determine if it meets your needs.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support. Thank you for being a part of the AgileTest community.
Best regards,
AgileTest Team.
